Previous Kruja, the citadel of Skanderbeg

Looking over the bazaar of Kruja with its mosque towards the citadel on the 610 metre hill. The fortress was the stronghold of the national hero Skanderbeg (George Kastrioti) between 1443 and 1468 in his struggle against the Turks.
