A candidate "sangoma", traditional healer or "witchdoctor", at the start of her "iNtfwasa" or initiation ceremony in Bethany, LaMabuza's homestead near Matsapha. LaMabuza is making small cuts in the joints of the initiate with a razorblade, after which she rubs "umuti", traditional medicine, in the cuts.
