PreviousTraditional celebrations in Swaziland
Married women and unmarried girls are dancing during the traditional wedding of Prince Mfanasibili in Bhekinkosi, near Luve, to the north east of Manzini. They wear short "indlamu" bead skirts and "umcwasho" tassels, denoting whether they may have a boyfriend or not, from their heads. Men in warrior outfit run towards them, slamming their shields on the ground as a sign of appreciation.
